Just curious if people would be interested in a site where catalogs could be shared for those interested. Here is sample: My Temporary/Short version of what I mean I started one and wanted to know if people would use it. If so I will add more things, if not, I won't waste my time. Thanks
Commercial posts. Our old rules clearly state that we don't allow commercial posting on rdc unless you are granted to its designated area (Industry News) so this posting is kind of redundant right now but as a courtesy to our violators we are breaking it down one more time. A commercial post by our definition is a posting on our site that offers a 'for pay service' or goods or an...

I want to know what all you guys who own Fabrication shops look for in one of your employees who fabricates for you. I started welding with a guy who owns his own shop who also does lessons on the side. So far I'm somewhat good at MIG, getting better at Stick, and mediocre at aluminum TIG, havent stepped up to stainless TIG yet. I'm a senior in High School and plan on graduating here in June. So...
So we need a place in Temecula to store and prep our trucks. The new shop would be a great place to work on truck at any hour. We will have some tools there for general use like Bender, Welder, Tig and Mig, plasma cutter and various hand tools. This is not a place for donkey's so if you have nothing to loose this mught not be the right place for you. We are looking for responsible parties to...
Would somebody be able to point me in the right direction to a good shop in the las vegas or phoenix area that would possibly be looking to take on somebody who would basically be a shop hand, clean shop, help out where needed, ect. im new to working on desert vehicles but have been working on vehicles for 7 years. im looking to get in to a shop to further my knowledge about it and focus on...
I have started a cummins conversion into my 94 4x4 suburban diesel with a 6.5 turbo diesel.
this could be a short thread but you never know.
I am looking at getting a tow rig on a budget. I have found a 97 F250 w/ 460 auto 4x4 super cab short bed and 4.10 posi. I have a Bronco that I estimate around 5500lb (?). My question is, will this truck be enough to tow my bronco on a trailer with the essentials for the weekend family outing? Or is a f350 the only way to go?
I have a class 4 that I would like to mount a Rad Flow Jack on it....Any cool ideas?
my tires are shot on my buggy hauler. where's the best place to buy new ones in the san diego area. thanks in advance.

ok so here goes my first post! i want to build my 94 bronco into a daily driven, prerunner, future race truck. i want to (what ive heard is a cardinal sin) eliminate the 4 wheel drive, since i hate the cut and turned beam setup and either do an equal length beam kit, probably 5" over each side, or a fancy j-arm setup, except i wouldnt even know where to begin on a j-arm setup. and do both a...
I've had it with Craftsman Race Jacks. Our team has four jacks and nothing but problems. We've changed the fliud so it doesn't foam but they still don't last. Tried returning to Sears but older than ninty days and there is no warranty. We have a heavy class one car and need reliable jacks for both in car and the pits, any sugestions?
After being around this type of racing along with my drag racing experience I thought that I would like to create a class on how to safety wire the proper way. I've been in the Aerospace/ Missile Defense division for the past 24 years and have learned quite a bit about the process and specs that are required for proper safety wiring fasteners. My question is, would any of you think...
I currently have a baja bug that i want to beef up for the class 5/1600. the car does have a full roll cage and other additions onto it. the problem is that the front end isnt tubed yet and i would like to do that before i get a fox shock upgrade. If anyone has any knowledge about this issue i would love some feed back, thanks.
i was wondering what all of you use to "clean" grease and dirt off of your frame? preferably something thats very easy to work with and does most of the work for you, cleaning wise. i have been using super degreaser and all purpose cleaner, and i was thinking there has to be something a little more stronger out there that makes the process that much more easier.
prolly more useful than the other thread, but you never know.
Hello everyone, RaceCo (Arizona) is a newer company (starting beginning of 2011) located in N. Phoenix. As we are not affiliated with, or as well known as RACECO-USA located in California, owned by the very talented Jamie Campbell, we are very excited to start bringing some new things to the table in the near future. We are continuously adding things to our profile and building the name. ...
Hello,I have a 2009 Nissan titan i am currently looking to build this titan. I have been looking hard to find a reputable company to do the front end which has been very difficult .Every shop that i have looked at has had issue or dosen't make agood front end for the Titan. BBR fabrication has built a sick one off J-Arm kit for a titan so i spent about 3 hrs. talking with the owner Ross about the...
I just finished my chase rack for my truck and I was looking for some ideas, little tricks you guys use. Just in general for tool storage, parts bins, hardware boxes, anything you can think of. Thanks for the help guys.
I bought some kmc enduro headlocks for my truck and there is a threaded hole opposite of the valve stem. I am assuming this hole is for the use of the inner tire liner. However, i am not going to be using these for my DD. Does anyone know something that will plug this hole? I was thinking of using a bolt or something but I don't want to make the wheel too far off balance. Or does anyone...
Just learning SolidWorks and am looking for someone who wants to make a few bucks teaching me a little more in depth about the program. I'm asking for someone who is able to come by my house, get fed and make some money teaching me. Is there anyone in AZ. that is interested in helping me out? Thanks, Greg
I'm considering purchasing a 2005 Denali...but I don't want to drive it around in AWD all the time. So, that's my question. Can I put a different T case unit in it, therefore effectively eliminating full time AWD and having the options of 2HI, 4HI & 4LO like my Suburban currently does. Electronically by the way, I would love to retain the control I have now, but also have the rest of that nice...
So I bought a huge tool box I am keeping in the back of the explorer right now. It takes up about 60% of the cargo room, but I really don't use the rear half anyways. So the picture below is how we have our tool boxes at work. It makes it really easy to see if you have a tool missing, and holds them tight. I need it so my tools don't bounce around as I drive around and obviously so I don't forget...
So how much do you torque your lugs to. Looking to see what you guys suggest for 5/8 studs? is 120lb ft too low?
What gun do you use, and do you like it??? Looking for something to carry in my prerunner. Thanks!
So I am planning on spending 4-5k on a daily driver pick up. I want a full size, v8 auto. I would like to drive it for a while, then once i can afford to do it, put a simple cage in, buy a decent aftermarket "long travel" kit, deavers in the rear, and have a street legal, daily driver, that i can also have a little fun in the desert with. I want to be able to take the girlfriend to a movie in it,...
What do you guys use for a small welder for a chase truck ? a gas powered rig would be nice for having 110 volts available for grinders/lights etc.

Does anyone have a hook up for general red label 37-1250-17 tires or the same size in baja ta projects? I have cash and am willing to pick them up. I live in az but would drive to get them in cali or nevada
I might have posted this in the wrong section, This is nothing related to off-road, I drive a 1999 Toyota Camry and the timing chain is going out. I don't want my parents to pay alot of $$ to get it fixed so i was wondering if i can fix it my self. I found a kit that gives the timing belt w/water pump. From reading it looking pretty easy. I have rebuilt a motor before but it was for a dirt bike....
