ive been trying for the last 6 months to find a short bed for my 69 f100. been placing adds in the classifieds and also on other forums. what i was wondering is if anyone has one or knows where i can find one. i see alot of guys putting bed sides on there truck so got me thinking "where's the old bed?"

Hey, so I am buildin a class 8 69 f100(the same truck swuchase1 is lookin for long bed bed sides for!) and we are going to be having a 1 piece front clip made. we like the flared-fenders.com fenders, and the autofab "pinched" hood, but they wont work together(to my knowledge). flared-fender said they could make a pinched hood for 2k, but like I said, we want to go one piece. Got a ticket a couple of days ago for not having any mud flaps. I've been looking into getting some, but don't really like the "flaps". I'm leaning more towards the Bushwacker type fender flares. I measured, and the tire tread is about 2.5" outside of the fender. Just wondering if you guys know where I could get a good deal on some, or any suggestions as to what might be easier/budget-friendly....

FAST Fabrication decided to build a fiberglass console for the race truck. This is not the first fiberglass thing we have built on the truck (we did the scoops, upper visor and lower visor and valence); however this was the first time we used the wire mesh purely for skeleton shape purpose. Has anyone used rsk fiberglass before? And specifically their one piece clip for the 2008 and newer chevy silverado 1500? The clip looks pretty nice in their picture but I am wondering what their fit and finish is compared to one of the larger companies like fiberwerx. So the issue i am having is with the zeus screw. I was installing a side panel on a buggy and one of the zeus screws was hard to turn and once i felt that it was not turning i stopped. When i went to extract the zeus screw I realized that the zeus screw had mushroomed the head. The main problem is i cannot get the zeus screw out of the tab and i do not have access to the back of the panel...

I have seen a bunch of vehicles on here with some nice dash badges/switch labels and was wondering where they got them. I know Kartek and K4 sells some preprinted ones and I've tried using my label maker before but those dont last long. Looking for some nice ones to put on my truck and cant find any. i noticed that on some fiberglass fenders the paint that the distributor uses will be a gel coat put in to the mold. which leads me to this question, which is probably a easy answer but i want to be 100% sure. if you get fenders pre painted by the distributor with the gel coat, can they still be painted later on down the road to a different color? i dont exactly understand the whole gel...
