Their is one prototype that is out right now and you can find a few pictures of it on the internet, but as far as a production model crew cab Raptor, we haven't heard anything yet about it. My guess is as good as yours right now on when it may come out, but I wouldn't bet it would be out before the Raptor X is...

The shaft was a symptom; the motor mount bolts fell out, slowly destroyed the trans mount. When that broke, the whole power train whipped the driveshaft off the truck. We found the trans mount and fixed Sat. nite but we did know about the motor mount nor that we had ruined the flange on the diff when we broke the shaft on Sat. (1 mile from the finish) So we were doomed for Sunday w/o a driver side motor mount.....which allowed my oil lines to rub on the frame and destroyed 8ft of aeroquip! Cooler issues....There's more but I won't bore you with the rest....just the tip of the iceberg.

I know there's no "chasing" like Baja, but if you need someone to help out with vehicle retrieval, I can do that too. Start line, check point, whatever I'm good.

Dang! That's a shame did that have something to do with the driveshaft issues? We don't allow you to "chase" like in Baja, but you can be a retrieval person or checkpoint person, or work in a pit... we allow the teams to fix their cars and put them back in the race, and sometimes they can go out and get 'em themselves, as long as it's not in critical habitat. Either way, we will have a spot for you - if it's not on the start line, then somewhere awesome in the making of history
