    Good luck with the race. I got promoted to detective back in June and Cvoki got to retire and stay home. Unfortunately, in October we had to put him down. He was having problems with Degenerative Myelopathy (a nerve disorder), which made him lose control of his back legs. He was an awesome dog and it was a great loss to our family. Other than that, the detective gig is going well. I'm in our Property Division investigating thefts, burglaries, etc. Definitely busier than Patrol.

    Sorry, no hook-ups on Padres tickets. I'll be headed out to Plaster City on Thursday morning. We have the King of the Desert race this coming weekend. How are things up north, Do you still have the dog?

Biography:
Followed desert racing since mid-80's (Manny Esquerra, Ivan Stewart, "Ford Rough Riders"). Bought first race truck, 7S Ranger, in 2001 and started racing with VORRA. I have been a Deputy Sheriff with the Napa County Sheriff's Dept. (Napa, CA) since 1996. Recently, became a K-9 officer.
