In all seriousness, I remember a few years ago the guys from WERock talking about European events so I would guess it is pretty much the same as here...
Chad Ragland was born with racing in his blood. Son of off-road racing icon, “Lightning” Larry Ragland, Chad was at the races before he could even walk. He first competed in the SCORE off-road series in an unlimited class one buggy with Volkswagen factory driver, Mark Miller. In 2004, Chad joined veteran racer Brian Collins and Collins Motorsports. In his first Baja 1000 attempt, Chad made a lasting impression on the off-road racing community by leading the majority of the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 overall in the premier Trophy Truck class.
In 2007, Chad joined the highly visible TForce Motorsports. Chad was integral in the team’s startup phase and served as the lead driver of the #33 Trophy Truck. In 2008 the team captured podium finishes at both the 2008 SCORE San Felipe 250, and the SCORE Baja 1000. That year the team finished every mile they started.
For 2010, Chad has provided driving asistance to Baldwin Motorsports helping SCORE Trophy Truck Champion B.J. Bladwin and his father Bobby. Here, he continues to be a threat to the competition.
Chad has been featured in several action sports films, most notably, Bajaflo2, Desert People 6, and Drive. He has also appeared in three NBC Baja 500 and 1000 program features and various off-road racing shows. A fanatical cyclist and motorcycle rider, when Ragland isn’t racing behind the wheel, he can be found on the roads and trails around his home in Carlsbad, California.
