    My dad was first stationed at March in 1929. Sunnymead was nicer than Edgemont and the two were separated by fields then RIR before the mall. There used to be a bar at the junction of 395 (now 215) and 60 called the "March Inn."

    I first drove a car 100 mph on an old runway at Camp Hawn, located where the National Cemetery is today. Riverside County ran most of my family off, but my son is at UCR.
