Mark, I'm not among those that think it is your sole responsibility, but I wonder if you race "bare" or purchase any liability insurance when competing in the US. No need to discuss policy $ limits. We looked into it several years ago, but it was too cost prohibitive for our Sportsman team and so raced bare and carried the risk ourselves. One of the major reasons I quit racing in 2010 just prior to the MDR incident was because I didn't want to be responsible for a new driver after seeing him drive in a way I found irresponsible and didn't feel like risking all my wife and I worked for over the past 40 years. If you don't carry insurance, how do you protect your assets and those of TSCO, since, while you are not solely resposible, you could be found liable and probably would be considered to have "deep pockets"? Thanks for your interest.
Mr. Weyhrich nice to see you give credit and support to your fellow racers, shows great class on your part. If your ever in need of a good Mexican driver for one of them trucks please give me a shot. I come with great team support and a few sponsors. Also trying to put together a found racing effort for the Widows and Orphans fund as im a police officer with the city of San Diego and would love to do something possitive and also give some much needed possitive PR to our sport. Thanks again Mr. Weyhrich.
Hey Mark, yes it is me. I had a good opportunity to move on from busting my hump on race cars so i pusued it. My wife and I had a second daughter last Sept and it was a good time to start being around more for them. I still come out to the BITD races with the team I was helping last year. So I will hopefully see you at one of the races soon. We can get caught up and see about helping the alcohol companies stay in business! How have you guys been? Trucks are really looking good.
Hey, Mark! Watch out for our blue light special - our latest expendable back bumper is moly! Again, I'll leave room on my left, except inMineral Wash. Have a fun race! Bring raingear to help keep skies sunny.
like you come to run a road race in Los Cabos Baja California Sur? the next 6 and February 7 will do a road race called the Eastern Cape 250, in which we invite you to run, have a lot of participation from drivers who are in SCORE, I will mention a few: Luis Ramirez Jr., ex-driver Jefferies Racing Samuel Araiza Steve Barry Robert Ross etc ... I would like to know your answer. I say goodbye with a salute Paul
LOL, Petey's all upset. Hey, I forgot to get that beer you promised after you hit my limping "blue light" special. Have a great holiday and hope to see you IN FRONT of me at Parker!
I hate that it took you to tell them, but I love that you did tell them about racing in the dust so they will understand and accept it as a part of desert racing's reality, thanks for chiming in, always interesting...
