Biography

I have gone to most all the HDRA, SCORE, MDR, and MORE for the last 25 years. First desert race I attend was the Fireworks 250 in the early 80s. A friend bought a used Raceco single seat 10 car in 88 so we took it up to the Mint 400 that year. It was his racing debut and all ours as pit guys and he turned it in to the Flintstone mobile ripping the skid plate completely off, That’s when I found out what pit guys and street signs are for, repair. What an adventure and fun we all had. We have been doing about all the races from then on having a blast and doing a bit of partying also, kind of goes hand in hand. Rick had a new Raceco single seat 10 car built in the early 90s and we did a lot of racing with it. Damage a few chase trucks over the years also. We then gotin to Class 1with a Jimco 2 seat with a type 4. Not long after that every one else was getting the V8 going and finishng. The Fortin trans and DG 300 were starting to hold up to the power of the V8s and we were about the only ones out there still with a 4 cylinder 5 speed but still did pretty good if the course was real technical. Rick had a LS1 put in the old Jimco and what a hot rod it was then. Now it is 2008 and we got an early Xmas. A new Jefferies Class 1 with an LS-7 and all the bells and whistles and are planning on having lot of fun with it. A couple old men and a lot of power, so look out kids for old age and treachery in 09.
