My friend has bought multiple sets of fenders from Tim over the past few years and has never had a problem. I guess its just hit or miss..

He told me their was a 4 day lead time and 5 day ship time so I ordered them. Then I get a hold of him a couple weeks later and he told me they were shipped already and he will get me the tracking number and call me back. Then 2 weeks goes by calling Tim everyday and emailing multiple times and I got no response. I just want status update on where my fenders are. The last time I called him it said this number is no longer in service so I dont know if they are going out of business or what? I will keep everyone updated if he gets back to me

I'm Richard Cretier, french car driver on off road races (Dakar, Tunisia and Lybia rallye, Morocc rallye, Spain, etc.)
My copilote is Marc Racine- handicapped personn (parapleglic). Marc is the first paraplegic to finish a FIA rallye (Tunisia 2008) on a Mercedes 450ML.
We decide to built a new car based on a Ford Ranger to run the Africa Race (ex Paris Dakar) on January 2013, and test the car on the Tuareg rallye in Morocco March 16 to 26 (200 competitors frommany countries - european, american, Japanese, etc.).
I order and paid to Glassworks Unlimited a body race and fenders on January 30th. Today, the parts are not delivered in France. Tim Gerwatosky says the 02/21 "Parts just got finished will pallet wrap them up and ship out". Since, no answer to my mails, no answer to my calls.
We are in a dramatic situation. With no body, no race ! We spend many money for this project. Public and press are waiting news from Morocco. For handicapped personns in Morocco, whe have collected wheelchairs and crutchs. People in Morocco are waiting ours wheelchairs and crutchs.

BAD EXPERIENCE
I ordered 2004 silverado bedsides and front fenders on April 03 2012 and its now July 11, 2012 and i have not recieved my fenders. I tried calling thru out these 4 months and all i got is they are on there way, please hold i need to speak with tim. I have left numerous messages via email and voice mail. Right now I am out $950 from these guys. To make things worse their phone number is no longer in service and the BBB.org could not get a hold of them. I dont know what else to do. Im thinking fileing a police report with the huntington beach department for theft.
When i first ordered the fender i spoke with tim him self and he said he had 2 instock and would ship them out that very next day.
WELL I NEVER GOT THEM!!!!!!

It took me a month to get my bedsides from them. i end up filing a police report and email it to him and the next day they were on my porch. from what i hear tim isn't there very much and has someone running the company and is doing all the orders. One of my buddys is friend with the guy that is running glasswork and he is helping him sell the glassworks glass on the side. i'll is if i can get his cell # for you.

Is it devin? I would really appreciate any help. What kind of police report was it? Theft im assuming. He wont return my emails so i doubt he would see a police report in his email. BBB.org tried twice to get a hold of this guy. Im wondering if he closed down? Can anyone in cali help me out? At this point i just want my money back.
The last time i spoke with his employee "devin" he said that tim was out purchasing a molding company and was a very busy man at the moment and that he would get back to me asap. This never happend and the next day the phones went dead.
I can compensate anyone that can help me out. thank you!!!

I have a very bad experience with this man. Received body two month after payement and the day of the start of the rally !
I need help the police -see under :
We received your e-mail regarding the undelivered order. I am assuming “Glassworks Unlimited” is a Huntington Beach company and that is why you are writing the Chief of Police. I have forwarded this to our Detective Sergeant, Sergeant Shields, to evaluate. I am not sure if there are jurisdictional issues or civil issues regarding the order. Sergeant Shields and his detectives could answer that question better than I.

I can't even begin to tell you of the negitive experience we've had with Tim at Glassworks, so here is the short version. My son and his friend ordered a part while my son was deployed for the U.S. Army. His friend was going to take care of receiving the part so he could fix his truck while my son was deployed for 1 year. The order was place on in October of 2011 and the payment for the order was taken for my son account on October 6, 2011. Since that time my son's friend has tried to contact Tim with no resul. My son who in the mean time has returned from his deployment has tried to contact Tim and I call him daily trying get him to Return our calls and utlimately my son's money. IT IS MY OPINION that any active duty Military or Veteran or anybody else for that matter should NOT do business with Glassworks Unlimited. It is my opinion that any business or race team associated with Glassworks unlimited would be wise to disassociate themselves from this business. Our next step will be to try and get this business black listed by the US Military and I have one more step before I file a small claims law suit against Tim claims
