glassworks unlimited experiences
Has anyone had any negative experiences with glassworks unlimited at any point in time?
Reason why I ask is I recently bought a set of fenders from Tim and durimg the payment process online there was a $31 service fee which was supposed to be refunded to me, but never did. And it has been a month since my purchase. I was supposed to have it mailed to me, and I have recieved nothing! I have tried several times to reach Tim but no one answers the phone.
Am I the only one having this experience? Or have other people had this happen? Cause I'm not a happy customer at all at this point.

No you are not the only one and I can tell you that you will not be the last, there seems to be more unhappy Glassworks customer's than happy customer's. And a large majority of it comes from Tim's sh1tty customer service and its been that way for many many years.
I'll keep my Guns, Freedom & Money, YOU can keep the "change".

Re: glassworks unlimited experiences
I have yet to purchase anything from them.
However, I have driven there at least 3 times all around the middle of the day.
Tim (owner?) has not been there once.
The guys that are there speak bad English.
One of his workers told me he opens up, and leaves the rest of the day.

Yes have also have problems with glassworks. Order parts day after Thanks giving by phone web site didn't work and talk to Tim about order. Got e-mail back from Tim the day before Xmas parts were ready to be pick up. Left AZ on Dec 27 to shop and workers didn't know what parts were mind. Was instructed to call Tim to find out, worker call him he answer phone, I call same number and went to voice mail. Was instructed to come back next day to pick up parts. Which I did and part of order was done. Ranger fenders wasn't done yet. And to this day still haven't heard from Tim if parts are done and no call back or for that fact no e-mail return yet. Have friend in LA that will pick up parts same thing Tim doesn't answer phone and bad part is the parts are paid for. Give me something to beleive is the problem but you wont even answer the phone. Thanks for listening I see I am not alone on this subject

The best part is after you are done waiting you get the joy of fitting some awwwwesome quality pieces. They don't need tape measures over there and who needs to step back and look at the overall picture, I mean who really cares about symmetry, you can only see one side of the vehicle at a time right?! Oh and don't worry about lining up wheel openings, static rear tucking fenders are about to blast the desert near you! Watch out!! Wheel clearance?! They will make room for themselves in no time flat! Bump ur truck higher next time bro!! It's a shame. Such a shame. Truly pisses me off.

I final got my bedside about 3 weeks ago. I would leave as much phone call I could until his mail box is full. That what I did and he's deleting his every couple hours. I went to Huntington beach police department website and filed a theft police report basically saying very conversation we had and the time and dates. And the lies he told told. I email it to him and the next day I had my bedside before noon. Also try calling from different phone #.

Re: glassworks unlimited experiences
Pretty happy with my whole experience with Tim I emailed him tellin him what I wanted he said he didn't have them In stock and that he would put them on the board. I emailed him back asking me to just call when they were done then, to my surprise 3 days later I got a call they were done and I could pick them up, Glass actually fit near perfect. But after reading all the negative feed back here and over on DR I'm not sure I'm willing to risk another transaction with him. This is also another reason I never pay until I have the product no matter what it is thou, and i have never had a real problem with any business, Because people almost always seem to loose the motivation to help you out once paid. Does he do glass for any other industries? Just because it seems offroad almost seems to be an after thought with all the bad reviews and him still in business.

Re: glassworks unlimited experiences
It seems you only hear about the negatives of a company not the positives.. So here is my experience with them.. I purchased a set of fenders from another company in San Diego (won't say who it is) I could not get them to fit, since I am close to Glassworks I called to ask if they could take a look, Tim the owner said come on by, drove up and he was there in the back of the shop helping out his crew with some parts, he walked out and put the fender up on my truck, and for a half hour he and his designer could not figure out why it would not fit on my truck correctly, he went upstairs 'and grabbed a set of there fenders and held it up to my truck and the fender slipped right into place with no problem at all, I said "Sold" and bought their fenders right than and there, took the other ones back to the other company and had to fight tooth and nail to get my money back.. I eventually got bedsides from Glassworks and had them install them as well. I stop by every now and than to talk with Tim and the guys there, and when I have Tim was there most of the time. Now I know he is hard to get ahold of sometimes, running a business is hard work, and I have been to his shop and withall the noise going on compressor, spray booth and all I don't hear the phone ringing either. Now I know they have been in business for a long time, and again you seem to only hear the negatives so I thought I would share my "Positive" experience with them with you all, maybe there are thousands of others with a positive experience as well out there. Just my 2 cents.
