This thread started out really funny. Then someone went and posted the wiki page link and it got all serious. What happened to having a little fun at the expense of a Frenchman?

I see no reason to have fun at the expense of anyone unless it's your own self. Too sophomoric. Sorry, but I have too much respect for Peterhansel's racing accomplishments.

Pretzel(fill in the blank) = the DAKAR entry that is obviously the competition everyone has to beat. i.e. The Target. NO disrespect to the individual. Almost an inanimate object that stands in the way of victory.

It is ultimately sophomoric but I think only done because he is so good. Racing should have a little bit of play time.
