2013 Rules
Anybody familiar with rules for next year's Dakar? I keep hearing all this talk of new rules for the classes, but I haven't heard how they'll affect cars like the Mini's or the Hummers; have heard though that Giniel's Toyota already confirms with 2013 rules/regulations, with it's stock Toyota motor. Any help would be appreciated.
Will RG be able to run his Hummer next year, in it's current configuration? Will he need a smaller motor? Will the suspension settings need to be changed?

I have not heard anything about chassis specs but the new engine regs are aimed at neutralizing the advantage the diesels have over the gas burners. The max engine displacement and air restrictor sizes are being re-worked toward that goal.
If Nissan's motorsport division is NISMO, what is Honda's motorsport division?

Re: 2013 Rules
I highly doubt it. There is nothing like Robby's humbuggy so I think they'll restrict suspension, horespower and top speed. Hell they'll probably mandate that he have a frenchy naving or even driving.
All I can say is I think that whatever it is that they are gonna do it's probably gonna make the hummer less competitive in a big way. That's just my thoughts
