    97 F250 towing capabilities?

I am looking at getting a tow rig on a budget. I have found a 97 F250 w/ 460 auto 4x4 super cab short bed and 4.10 posi. I have a Bronco that I estimate around 5500lb (?). My question is, will this truck be enough to tow my bronco on a trailer with the essentials for the weekend family outing? Or is a f350 the only way to go?

the 250 will do very well in all but the gas mileage dept. there is not alot of difference in the 250 and 350 really

make sure you use a brake controller for the trailer
