Link mounts
wondering which style mount would be better... a plated style mount or a machined mount w pockets... any pros n cons? any help would be appreciated... Thanks

For the most part the only difference would be cosmetic assuming both were adequately designed and welded. . .my $.02

I really like the machined tab, although they are more money. There are companies that offer a complete set up for three link or four link that are all plate for alot cheaper and work just as well. Totally your call. Summit machine offers the billet ones in chromoly or mild. And can also build them for your correct tube diameter.

These were machined for my rear end out of 3/4" chromoly, and they cost more than plate, but there is less welding and fab time so you get some of that money back.

What thickness does the material end up being where the bolt hole is ?

They are made by PRD in Santee, and they are a fat 3/8" thick at the bolt hole
