Re: KOH Course Map
Alot of desert with some good rocks this year. A long course too at 170+ miles. I don't like that they are going down backdoor but they are doing going down Spooners and up Outer Limits which will weed out the non-hackers. Down Spooners is pretty nasty especially that late in the race.

Down Resolution/BackDoor will be tough for 90% of the field. Most rigs can't even make it up those trails without winching. The competitors will be tired at the end of the laps, which will make for more mistakes.(close to camp also, should make for good spectating)
Spooner's is easy Hoss! Even you could drive down it blindfolded.

Where are the best places to spectate? This will be my first year out to KOH, and while familiar with Johnson Valley, not sure where the entertainment is going to be.

Just go where the spectating areas are, granted down backdoor this year wont be as entertaining as going up. But chocolate thunder is always a good show and its quite tore up lately.
When in fear stab it & steer!!!

Re: KOH Course Map
What time does the race start on Friday? How long does it take to get from the start out to the spectating areas? Not sure I'm down for the $20 "donation" to get into Hammers Town (unless someone can convince me it will really be worth it to be allowed to visit the vendors selling their wares).

Re: KOH Course Map
You won't get any where near any of the action unless you pay the $20.

If you want to go next year, pay the twenty bucks.
