That's Plowmans 12 car - must've been a pain in the arse to retrieve! lol!
Actually was out in literally 2 minutes. Just took a couple hours to get to us and at that time it wasn't worth continuing. Bent rotor and bent tie rod and was fixed in 30 minutes. Scary ride though that's for sure.
That's what you get for being too patient behind a 7200. Just an FYI, I'm done being nice to guys that run. When I catch you, your going for a ride. This jack rabbit stuff is BS.

People don't understand, if there's a car behind you, it's not much of a race- you've already been caught- you were either slacking or slower, but let them by.
On another note, let me know how it works trying to move a truck that weighs 3x than you.

The trucks are the worst. I've had them pull over, see that they're being passed by a "lowly" class 5, and then pull right back in front of me with an extra roost. They're tough to hit though when their bumper is 2 feet higher than ours, and I have to be careful to not hit our shock towers. Takes a pretty good tap for them to feel it with the weight difference. Didn't have any problems this race though - we beat all but the winner, corrected.
Ryan was that you that went up on the bank around the fallen tree at RM 78 and then came flying back onto the course right in front of us?? I have video of it, will post soon. Half second later and you would have been on top of us. Talk about a clincher moment haha!

They will move just fine. If Bruce Lee popped a 400 lb man in the jaw, he would drop like a fly.

Use them as brakes. I've done it when they have run before. I don't like using the bumper if I don't have to, but after ruining my race I'm kinda fed up with it. When you start 15 minutes ahead of me and run when your caught, I'm no longer playing nice.

Yeah that was me. I went that route because I saw you coming, figured you passed by haha oops. Still don't know why they start 5's behind us. A course like Parker where HP matters, a good 5 car will eat us alive; especially on the uphills and sand washes.

Hey, we were actually fairly happy with our starting position considering where they usually put us. I'm just glad we started ahead of the 1600's, 3000's, and 6000's - all classes we have started behind in the past. I don't think 5U will ever start ahead of 12 (1100), due to entries, and average finish position, but on a good day, you're right, we'll win every time. I don't mind though, I enjoy the excitement of passing other buggies. The trucks drive me crazy though - they're so hard to pass with all the dust they throw up and their advantage of HP. We always catch them in the rough and technical, and then lose them in the straight-aways. Vegas to Reno is a nightmare to pass trucks.
