This is huge for SCORE, they made a promise of doing something different and they kept it. Can't wait for San Felipe Now! Viva Baja

Re: San Felipe 250
The whole course runs counter clockwise, so no section is backwards of what has been run in recent years. The new combination of washes will definatly mix it up!

That's what I thought when he first mentioned it, but, look at the map closely, Huatamote and Chanate are going to be run the other way than from last year. North going through Huatamote (last year was south), and west through Chanate (last year was east).

Re: San Felipe 250
Yeah thats right, I was picturing some kind of figure 8 nonsense; like he was describing a change from counter clockwise to clockwise mid course. I took "second half" to include Matomi and Azufre. Sorry for the confusion.

SCORE doesn't post the entry list untill the drawing results come out, the drawing is this saturday though. I raced this race the last 3 years in 1/2 1600, don't be discouraged if there are a small amount of 1600's on the FIRST entry list. MOST 1600 teams will not enter till about a week or two before the race, becuase no limited team wants to pay the full $1500 dollar entry fee 4 weeks in advance. Most likley there will be 9 or 10 on the first entry list but there will be near 20-25 starters come race day!
Very happy SCORE added new sections and changed it up, bravo! Can't wait for the race!
