Re: When is "NERFING" EXCESSIVE OR DANGEROUS?????
Just for the record ... the Milk-in-It guys and Frietas guys resolved this as posted earlier. That is the way to handle it, walk over to the pit and settle up if you were in the wrong. Period.
As far as being a jerk and just nailing someone because they don't and/or won't get out of your way ... not cool. Life is too short, it's supposed to be fun. Damage to their car and your car isn't worth it.

Damage to their car and your car is one thing, but having a size 12 steel toe Redwing boot surgically removed from your azz.. Now that's a different story. (not directed at you Busby lol)

Re: When is "NERFING" EXCESSIVE OR DANGEROUS?????
I know one of our cars was hit by a front running TT and they both saw stars for a little bit. No siren, no tap, just a smash. This paticular truck has really bright front facing lights so it would have been easy to get out of the way like it has been stated earlier. Its also hard to understand why 2 seat cars that get tapped and wont move, or wave, or something. That is the only time that I think a little more than a tap should be involved. I'm a fan of just going around someone but sometimes you just can't.
Just looking for my next win and something to ride or drive in.

Re: When is "NERFING" EXCESSIVE OR DANGEROUS?????
Start calling people out! Post their names and their team name on here, then maybe they will start learning their lesson. I never excessively nerf people unless they deserve it (hitting them once, then them roosting me and trying to run). Started 70th in this race 2 years ago and never had to slam anybody. Nerfing can be done in a productive manner. It's not about "smashing some guys cage in coz it's off-road racing!" I respect everyone else I race against, and feel they respect me for the way I treat everybody on the track who is trying to have a good time like myself.

Re: When is "NERFING" EXCESSIVE OR DANGEROUS?????
We had a class 1 car nerf us on one of the rock walled washes at the Parker race.... We waved, and got over as soon as we could. We would have earlier, but there was nothing but rock/ dirt walls until the top of that section. After pushing us up it, he made it about another 1/2 mile past us until he was upside down in the dust. there is a place for everything, a tap is different than unloading on someone....

Perfectly said Andy, some act like this formula 1 or Nascar. Come on no one makes money doing this no matter what class. We are families having fun out there and if its your day its your day but being wreckless, stupid or to think winning comes before another persons equiptment or safety is wrong. Anyone hurts me, my kids or my equiptment a little hint I'm always packin!!
