Heard the code red go out on weatherman and we were wondering how you could break both ankles. Now it makes sense! Heard the driver ended up admitted for possible concussion also?

My buddy Matt took the vid. He said there was so much dust and the car jumped out to pass and must have jumped 20-25 feet in the air and bottomed the front stinger in the ditch! There was a large imbedded rock at the bottom of the ditch, which stopped the car immediately and probably jolted the occupants. Co-dawg broke both his ankles on impact (not sure if seatbelts moved or ankles were in a weird spot). Driver has a concusion and said the neck restraints probably saved their lives. Impact was estimated to be around 35-40mph.

That was a gnarly hit they took, hope they recover well and race another day.

I did this on a quad one time... its never pretty, im glad to hear they guys are ok.

Matt Messer (the driver) will competing in WE rock , I believe this weekend. Hear the co driver will be out of commision for a while. Wonder if they will be reacing any Ultra 4 races this year

We will be racing in the first Dirt Riot race in Gorman, ca and then the following weekend in the Mint 400.
