The truck looks great, keep it up, you'll be race ready in no time. I'm hoping to be ready soon myself.

Appreciate the comments! Picked up a bunch of parts over the last week and some change, hopefully will have some updates on the front kit here soon. Chipping away at having this thing ready to go in October!

I remember! DP8 Premiere too I think right, although I didn't get to chat much because I was running around a bit. Regardless, looks like you beat us to the punch as your truck is a lot farther along than ours! The front kit is close to being done, took a little minor tweaking in a redesign of the lower arms to make sure we're getting the most out of it. The spindles will use stock Tacoma hubs which is a bit of a departure from most kits but we're confident that they will be more than adequate. It will pull right around 20" metal to metal but we'll be strapping it right around 18".

Will need to pick up new wheels with proper backspacing to adjust for the scrub radius, but other than that it we expect it to be on par with the other high end ish race kits out there.

Regarding the rack, for the near term we're going to leave the stock rack in. With so much to do before October we're kind of picking and choosing projects to get the truck ready. If we have real problems through the summer with the rack as we put miles on the truck testing, shock valving, etc, we may have to fast track that project but for now we're going to take our chances with the stock rack and see what happens.

Picked up a lot of needed stuff at the swap meet a few weeks ago, especially thanks to PCI and Fiberwerx. Also thanks to a few chance pick ups we should have a Currie 9" to pair up with the Strange 3rd and round out the drivetrain.

At this point we basically have all the major components, just a lot of little nickel and dime stuff left to pick up. All that's left now is the manual labor of putting everything together!

Yes motor will stay the bone stock 3.4, only accessory remotely of note is the UMP we're going to try to run in to the cab. Otherwise, not even headers at this point! Eventually will look at supercharging and all of that fun stuff but that will be a ways down the line.
