Give it some time, Robby is pulling out all the stops to make it happen.
PS, anybody looking for SE near the High Desert area, send me a PM and I will see what I can do.
I dont dought its hard putting together a big distibution deal, with so much competition Im sure the giants like coke/pepsi would rather squash the little guys than give them space in the cooler

Re: Is RG's NASCAR days almost over?
a former employee told me that Robby has closed the doors at the shop. I drive by the shop about every day and while there aren't many cars in the parking lot as there used to be there are a few and the lights are still on.
anyone else hear this or know of this being a rumor or fact?

To get the best info I would stop in and ask. But from what I have heard is RGM has stopped showing up to NASCAR races that they are not sponsored to run or want to run. No more S&P races for the #7. Per RG it was not helping pay the bills and is not good for the Speed Energy brand. I think they are using the Wood Bros limited race schedule strategy, and just show up for races they are planing to race. I have heard the road courses, including the NW Montreal races is scheduled and possibly the plate races will be on the schedule. So the next race you could see the #7 at is Talladega 5/6 or not until Infineon 6/24. I would guess the shop has not technically closed the door's as the Speed Energy drink uses that building as it's corp headquarters and RG's Dakar, Short Course truck and other misc programs are run out of that building. It is very possible that RGM is down to a very limited staff and most is probably office employees as they are also dealing with the Speed Energy products. So if your a stock car guy looking for work I dont think you are going by RGM looking for a job.

The shop is not closed. Plenty of activity behind the doors, both SE and RGM related.

He is working on his drink, more desert races, and only running cup races he wants/has sponsorship for. He will be back at Infinion for Cup.

Sadly, being way down on power with the new FI setup, he doesn't stand a chance unless it turns into a fuel mileage race.. but I'll still be rooting for Orange just as hard as '03!!

Thanks, that's pretty much what I knew. I was hoping to get an update on had he secured any sponsors for any upcoming races.
I hope he can make the road courses and November Phoenix race, planning to rent an RV for that one. You down Loomis? Gonna roll out in the Prius and rent an RV in Phoenix, lol
