Re: Southern arizona desert racing
Never brought my own race vehicle down to Mexico before, what do I need to get it back across without a problem? Car is custom built and doesn't have a title....

Re: Southern arizona desert racing
Sandstorm 300 “Pre-Run up-date”
Due to some current ranching operations and the racecourse length, staffing will be required and I have to make some small change for Fridays pre-run.
Registration / sign-up for the pre-run will be open at 9:00 am, April 20th at ‘Wrecked at the Reef”
All interested participants are required to be staged for a 10:00 am start at the start / finish line, anyone intending to start the pre-run after 12:00 am will not be allowed to participate.
The pre-run is “open” for anyone with a capable vehicle, $20.00 per Car/Truck and $10.00 per motorcycle/quad. The entire family is welcome to join in the fun. I would anticipate 5 hrs to complete the course at an average speed of 35 mph; weather conditions should be excellent, I would be sure to include amble amounts of water and some snacks for the journey.
Thanks for your understanding

Before everyone crosses the border at Lukeville, make sure to stop at the "WHY NOT TRAVEL STORE" in Why, AZ at 230 S. Sonoyta Way and pick-up a SADR logo sticker at the sales counter, place the sticker in the upper right-hand corner of your windshield before you cross.
Race gas / gasoline, DON'T fall for the "manifest" gimic that someone dreamed up, that won't work! The Mexican port authority regularly rotates staff and fully understands its a numbers game! If you decide to bring your own fuel, keep the volume small, preferably in more than one container.
For race gas you can order direct at 619-664-4548 or [email protected]
