just found out from my brother inlaw that mike norris from norris racing had a heart attack over the weeked and is in icu at st. bernadines hospital. he is not doing well. mike and norris racing ran the MORE series. and i heard they just dusted off the car recently are were gonna start racing again. mike and david are a good group. prayers go out to them. we chased for them one year at the rockpile.

Left Plaster City yesterday and went straight to the hospital. Family is holding up strong, They are taking him off the medication to try and induce him to come out of coma. They will be doing more tests today. Doctor said he is too weak and not stable enough to operate yet. We could use any and all thoughts and prayers for Mike and the family, awesome family, awesome friends and this news definety hurts bad. I will try to update his status as I hear from Sharon, Mike Jr, or David and relay as they request.

Mike or 'Pops' Norris as I've known him is probably the nicest guy you could ever have the privilege of knowing. He will do anything in his power to help you or if you have a few hours to kill he can talk to you about anything and make you laugh. Hoping for the best.
