STRONGHOLD JOINS FORCES WITH SUPERCROSS.COM
& LOCTITE
Riverside, California (March 7, 2012) - Today, 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Super Team of the Year, Stronghold Motorsports, is proud to announce that they have joined forces with media outlet Supercross.com and Henkel Corporation's global sealant and adhesive brand, Loctite for the 2012 season.
This new Supercross.com/Loctite/Toyo Tires Stronghold Motorsports off road racing team will be anchored by multi-time XGames medalist and action sports icon, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg, making his debut for Stronghold Motorsports in the hotly contested Pro2 class. One of the most charismatic and electrifying riders in freestyle motocross, Stenberg has made an immediate impact in the high flying world of Lucas Oil short course off road racing, winning the SuperLite truck class title while being named Rookie of the Year in 2010. After competing in a select number of races in the series' premier class in 2011, an off season of extensive testing has prepared Stenberg to lead an all out assault on the Pro2 standings.
Sharing the Supercross.com/Loctite awning with Stenberg will be of Supercross.com owner and Managing Partner, Matt Cook, in his second season campaigning a ProLite truck and Garrett Poelman competing in SuperLite as Brandon Bailey returns in the Stronghold ProBuggy. Each driver under the Supercross.com/Loctite Team will race on Toyo Open Country M/T or Open Country A/T tires.
"Stronghold Motorsports has an impressive record of success and professionalism on and off the track," said Cook. "We view short course off road racing and the outstanding level of exposure it offers as a tremendous asset to building the Supercross.com brand. We are proud to be aligned as both teammates and sponsors of the Stronghold Motorsports organization."
The addition of Stronghold Motorsports to its impressive roster of global action sports and motorsports sponsorships represents Loctite's first foray into the realm of short course off road racing. "Henkel is very excited to sponsor Stronghold Motorsports for the upcoming 2012 season. Our Loctite brand of adhesives and sealants are used throughout their race trucks, ensuring that Jeremy and the entire Stronghold roster of drivers achieve maximum performance from their vehicles. This sponsorship is a natural fit to demonstrate the high performance and reliability of the Loctite brand."
Stronghold Motorsports Managing Partner, Scott Bailey expressed his enthusiasm for the team's most recent developments. "This groundbreaking partnership with Supercross.com represents a unique opportunity for us to develop a lasting relationship with a tremendous media outlet whose extensive resources will increase the universal awareness of our athletes and our sport." He continued. "The additions of Supercross.com as well as Loctite to our program align Stronghold Motorsports with extraordinary partners as we carry our record of success into the 2012 season."

Re: LOORRS- Firebird Count Down- News, Photos, and Inside Scoops-
Kyle Lucas To Drive SpeedCo / Lucas Oil / General Tire ProLite
with Jeff Carpenter Racing INC.
Young Kyle Lucas is turning up the competitive spirit that has driven his family namesake and influenced nearly all realms of motorsport disciplines worldwide. Stepping up his program in a big way, Kyle has worked out a deal to drive a ProLite Truck in the 2012 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Kyle shared some thoughts on his new program.
Lucas Oil : "You have a background in racing, (How long?)"
Kyle Lucas : "I have been racing for 13 years. I was 9 years old when I began racing go-karts and I moved through the ranks for six years. Since then I have been racing off road buggies for seven years. Last year in 2011, we moved into the SuperLite class for a couple of races. That was a lot of fun and we did fairly well, but I am really excited to step up into a professional truck class. "
Lucas Oil : "What are your objectives outside of racing?"
Kyle Lucas : "It has been a lifelong dream to become a professional race car driver. At the same time, I would like to stay highly involved in my grandfather's company, Lucas Oil. I currently work at our Indiana facility when I'm not at school or racing. I am very proud of what my grandparents [Forrest and Charlotte] have started, and I am pursing a degree in Industrial Manufacturing. I hope to support the company and grow Lucas Oil wherever and whenever we can."
Lucas Oil : "You are moving up to a Pro Class. What are you doing to prepare yourself mentally and physically?"
Kyle Lucas : "I have changed my diet and have been hitting the gym a lot here lately. School is a real priority so I am always really busy with college. I always have lots of things going and it is so easy to get distracted from the end goal. But I intend to develop my aptitude as a racer, so I must stay focused and sharp. There are a million little things that go along with being a racer like putting deals together for sponsors and teaming up with a quality race program like Jeff Carpenter Racing INC. I don't think it has really sunk in that I'm going to be racing in a pro class driving the SpeedCo ProLite. A few months ago, I did not even know if I would be racing the 2012 season."
Lucas Oil : "How many laps have you turned in the new truck?"
Kyle Lucas : "As of right now, none. There are still changes and upgrades being made to the truck that have kept us from getting out on the track and running laps. They just installed a new rearend. We are planning to run some laps at the Arizona Regional race that's coming up in March."
Lucas Oil : "Where would you like to see yourself realistically half way through the season?
And at the end?"
Kyle Lucas : "ProLite is a very competitive class and this year looks like we will see more talent in the division than ever before. Mainly, my goal is to be able to run with the top three guys and learn as much as I can from them. There are some really fast guys in this class, and I would eventually like to be one of them. I would like to have some top five finishes, and maybe even a podium by the end of the year. I think we could say we all did our job and have the significant accomplishments to be proud of."
Jeff Carpenter Racing Inc. is based out of Perris CA. What originally started out as a start-up UTV race effort in the CORR days, eventually shaped into a full service performance race shop. Now days, Jeff Carpenter Racing Inc. in-house services include chassis design, fabrication, body work, race prep and more. Currently housing two ProLites, their newest truck was built completely by JCRI with help of Tim Carrol at CRD. "We run a low key operation," Team Owner Jeff Carpenter stated, "I feel we have one of the most organized, clean, and professional programs out there. We don't need the glam status of the super teams. Just the results on the track. We plan to turn some heads this season and we have a great group of guys that are serious about performance and committed to achieving results. JCRI has enlisted Team Manager and Crew Chief, Sean Hodgdon, who will be working alongside myself and our Lead Technician, Dave Halladay. With Kyle Lucas driving the SpeedCo / Lucas Oil / General Tire ProLite, will make Jeff Carpenter Racing INC. a team to watch this season. "
