22r or 22re? The r is easy with stock ignition module. Just needs a ground and 1 hot at the ignition. If it’s a re that a whole new can of worms and a pain. The factory loom is tied in with the dash and other crap. Best thing to do with a 22re is get a swap harness here

Or I have a mega squirt off a 22re that was doing just fuel using a ignition and distributor off a 22r for sale. It’s pretty simple and comes with all the needed sensors. all of it for less than half of the swap harness

    Re: 22r engine help????

Usually wont fire if the distributor is off a tooth. Loosen distributor a little and turn it all the way each way while cranking. If tries to fire you need to pull it out and move to next tooth. That's just number one thing.need more info
