This race was run on the north side of I-80, at Fernley, Nevada in 1995. Rod Hall was the promoter and NORRA was the sanctioning body. I believe it was the only race they put on since the 1970's, until the recent NORRA 1000 events.

call me old school, but i would like to see class 4 come back. Where are all these class 4 trucks now.

We have a hard enough time getting trucks in Class 3, and I'd love to see the 4's race, but I think the given the wheel travel and the power in Class 8, it would be even more expensive. It could happen if the Mfg's decided they wanted to see a Ford Raptor race heads up against other full-sized trucks with 4WD.

Haha! You can see the front tire and suspension of my truck at 28 seconds.. I was just using my class 4 truck to chase my dads class 8 for that race! They asked if they could put a camera on my truck facing the Rancho shocks and BFG tires.
