The word at the Off Road Expo last weekend is that he is focusing all of his attention on Stadium Super Trucks and will not be racing in Dakar in 2013.

must still have a bitter taste in his mouth over last year. in the past, he would have found time for both in my opinion..back to the way it used to be for the dakar..no usa teams in the top 10..or even the top 20 for that matter unless i'm overlooking a dark horse somewhere [maybe skilton]..all the focus for usa fans will have to be on the yank bikers i recon..unfortunate that the aso won't have rg to pick at..maybe they'll see what they're missing without their "bad boy" harrassing their precious factory mini prima donnas..sheesh..can you say boring? i mean who gives a rats ass which mini driver wins this thing as far as the usa fans are concerned, unless of course it's more about rooting against stephan peterhandjob and them other french homos...yeah..i said it..with apologies if they're not french of course...
"so that's your wife? last time i saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it".........rodney dangerfield RIP....
the questions are gonna be asked by the media to other competitors about rg's absence for sure. can't wait to hear what they say about him not being there. we'll see who has any class by admitting that the dakar is better off having him there to put some smoke on their asses and to spice things up a bit. it's dakar's loss even if they won't cop to it in my opinion..

I am disapointed he wont be racing, its just more fun having RG in there challenging the rules and going for the win. It will be a soft easy win for the rest of them this year, to bad for whoever wins, it will be tainted with no RG.
At least one "pay to play" Hummer will be there. Qatar will be in a buggy. The Toyotas did well last year, and Honda is building custom cars to compete.
SO there is the hope that every special will not end with mini/mini/mini. People do not realize that most checkpoints were won by Hummers last January. They led most of the specials.... but.... something usually broke, or they had to do more tire changes then the minis. But at least hey were competative.
