Info on CV's???
Can you guys either direct me to a good source (book and/or website) or tell me the differences between the different types of CV joints and when to use what?
I know very little about this. . .I know there are 30-series, 930 series, and 934 series (and even that may not be right) but that is about the extent of my knowledge.
Thanks!

Re: Info on CV's???
I know there is alot of different options out there, 300M cages, chromo cages, there are cheaper empi CV's, 33 or 35 splined stars.
Then once you figure CV's out there are several different options for axles, diameter, material, gun drilled, and splines.
I'm lost right along with you.
I will be running 934 CV's with 35 splined stars GKN CV's on my LS 1 with 450 hp/ablins car.

Re: Info on CV's???
Below 930s is the type 2/4 which are pretty similar but you would only use those on a Class 11. They can take around 22° if they are prepped without worry.

Re: Info on CV's???
This would be going in my girlfriend's Meyer's Manx (future tense. . .she's still looking for the "right" one), so VW engine at the moment, but I'd like to see it with a Subaru WRX engine in the future.

Re: Info on CV's???
Were running race preped 930's on a Manx with a 3 liter Subaru engine and a Mendeola 5 speed. You need to pay attention to them and service them often or you will be sorry.
