Re: Snore ridgecrest p ci 300
Sorry for the mistaken identity on the number plate. We just assumed. We had our own run-in with 105 and aren't thrilled about it.
923, just for future reference; You were actually slightly faster through the Main-to-A and Pit A-to-C with 15 degrees of negative camber in the front. I think you stumbled on the new hot setup! LOL
I'm going to get a picture of the rotor that exploded, I swear it's like a 1/2" gap between the tip and points. Sad thing is we know exactly why it happened. We tried out these massive ignition coils before Primm. Started the car and after about 30 seconds there was smoke coming from the distributor cap. Pulled it off, and the rotor was smoking! Someone just threw that rotor back into our parts bin instead of the trash. We'd been tuning the motor a couple days before Ridgecrest, and that timebomb got put back in the car. Duh!

Glad to hear those those bars worked for you Giti. haha Better to Have 27mm spare bars than no spares at all! and the car did really well! setting the pace for the first lap and almost all of the second! Having shifting problems that led to me being in 2nd gear for about ten miles. Got to a pit..fixed the problem in about an hour and made it back in the race and to get the checkered flag! Big shout out to my boys Brian Caudill and Matt Pino on a first place finish and kicking our asses!
