i dont see why switching promoters would help at all. Find a promoter you like and race with them, i dont see HDRA saying "no" to anything so why would you want to switch? So far everything HDRA has done has been very positive for our sport, you are reading local people on a chat board trying to give you advice.... Now as far as our suggestions, take the time to gain experience and learn how everything works in the racing world, then come back with how you think things can be changed in the future. Blaming people or trying to express everyones errors when your new to the world of racing makes you look silly. Imagine someone who has never built a truck trying to tell you how to build your truck.... would you take thier chriticism? or blow them off?

The switching promoters is not against HDRA, its just more cost efficient mostly due to distance for learning. Had already thought about doing a couple MORE races then coming back for laughlin possibly pahrump. it was by no means a threat. I did not blame them on GPS, the start yes was someones fault but i merely suggested to do it like primm, which turns out they did just with a mistake in the preorder entries. I am happy with HDRA hence why I chose to race with them not SNORE like originally planned. But if someone is going to get blasted and criticize for asking simple things or making suggestions then no I wouldnt want to. I have supported them, I have got them in contact with contingency people. Went and help set up the track on my very first race, and done anything else I could. Even tried to help figure out the promotion they had mailed to racers of RAS but no one seemed to know about it at Imperial due to some changes in staff si I offered to mail my coupon when I got back home.

    Re: Imperial 250 draw results

I will take a moment to clarify a couple of points mentioned in the above postings and then I will take this subject off-line with Keith. Keith did pay his pre-entry fee to be in the draw for class 1400. The results of the draw where posted on the web at 11:26 PM Thursday evening. I was not at the drawing and have not had an opportunity to review the video now posted. I will do so before I speak with Keith.

Keith referred to the Class 7 entry. Keith was going to run in either class 1400 or class 7 depending on if his vehicle would pass tech for class 7. He was not going to double dip. Keith and I spoke in registration and I arranged for his vehicle to go through tech prior to completing the registration process so he could finalize what class he was going to run. He reported back he could not pass class 7 tech and would run 1400.

To all racers please review the starting positions posted after the draw and bring any concerns you have to our attention immediately. I will add procedures to the HDRA processes to have a copy of starting positions in the registration area. If you do not have an opportunity to review the draw results prior to registration please feel free to ask to see the listing. HDRA appreciates all of your entries and commitment to racing with us. If at any time you have concerns please email me at [email protected] or call the office 702-407-3059

thanks christine... I didnt know i was starting 21th till friday night. Once I found out it was unable to broadcast I just thought I find out on friday. The person I was pitting with told me around 5 on friday. I just thought I got the bad luck of the draw so didnt think anything of it, did not realize what was done until after the race when the videos were posted on you tube, then I was like that seems unfair splitting it into two groups. Then I rewatch it in here after the comment about preenter and was like ok thats fair but how come I was not in the first group. Race is long done now so no big deal but just a heads up and I think your response about having a starting order at registration is awesome. You could like tape it above the table with all the forms or something like that so you dont get bugged about it by everyone. just food for thought
