Rigid's new Rear Race Bar
We got our new Rear Race Bar from Rigid and got it installed for the Mint. This is one bar that contains safety lights (blue and amber for our class), tail lights, brake lights, and a clear work light. All are on separate circuits and can be controlled individually. This makes for a super clean lighting package for the rear of the car and they are bright enough to be seen through the heaviest dust.
Sucky cell phone pics but here you go. Sorry, didn't get any with the clear work light lit.
Here is the bar -

And with brake lights -

Re: Rigid's new Rear Race Bar
Glad to see a manufacture step-up with an assembly of this nature.
I hope this encourages competitors to toss the trailer running lamps with being used as tail and anti-collision lamps, for a lamp having much greater brightness.

SCORE wouldn't let me run clear brake and tail LEDs - they have to be red lenses, not just red LEDs. Don't know about BITD.

That is just goofy. The non-illuminated color has zero influence on the functional color.
Although knowing SCORE requires reflective rear facing red lights (or reflectors,) the SCORE tech person may have requested red lens for the brake lamps with the intent of enforcing compliance with the red reflective rule.

We had that discussion with Casey at BITD when we started with the amber and blue Dually lights from Rigid. BITD initially wanted colored lenses. When we argued that the lenses on these could be totally destroyed and they would still be amber and blue, Casey agreed and OK'd their use.

This one is a 30". They could do whatever width you need.

Re: Rigid's new Rear Race Bar
Bill Savage has ok'd this bar to be used in SCORE. I personally know of 3 vehicles that have used it in SCORE. two of which raced the baja 1000 and one just used it in the 250. Also if you didnt know. The Geiser Bros RPM Truggy that Robby Gordon drives in BITD runs the same bar as well. They are pretty sweet
