I'm sure it was knocked down since it sat at the top of that peak before the right-handed turn downhill. There seemed to be plenty of workers and media on hand, that I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
I actually worked one of the road crossings at the wash where the 2nd train trestles were, and there were some real idiots refusing to adhere to the stop sign or needing a specific pit pass to get by. One jacka-- in particular, sped out onto the hot course from literally out of nowhere, almost getting stuck in the middle of the wash and having the TT that was barreling down it, come roaring right pass his truck's rearend.
Wet spots on those seats for sure.

No doubt, I was cursing the driver and his friends to no extent - they had a friend on a motorcycle with them, and I went off on him and near beat him with my yellow flag! Actually did a circle in that wash, so he crossed the coarse twice and HDRA officials were on his ass!
But yeah, there were a few "locals" who were heading through to Oco or said they had property they were going to, and refused to listen to us and gave us lip. Which was about all they could do with all their missing teeth, lol
