Silver State 300
What should one expect if racing this? I have raced the SNORE Caliente race in the truck and I know this runs some of the same area. Any idea of distance between pits? And for the chase team, can you do it with one truck or how many are needed?
Any information would be helpful.
Thanks!

Re: Silver State 300
The Silver State 300 is a great race! You should expect ultra fast dry lake beds, fast graded fire roads and some technical roads up in the pine forest. The pits are are approximately 50 miles apart with some 35 miles and others greater. If I remember correctly, last year there was one or two pits stops that you couldn't make with one truck depending on how fast your riders are.....Gear tall.....PM me if you need pit help. We have two trucks going

Re: Silver State 300
This race reminds me of a rally race, lots of speed, groomed dirt roads with sweeping corners. It gets a little tight on the switchbacks going up and down the mountain pass. I always wonder how the big trucks go through there. You can chase this race with 1 chase vehicle if you wanted. They can get to every pit but 1 or 2 in time.
