try and put some sort of track bar in the back it will help keep your rearend centered while moving up and down and keep the side to side movement down on the leafsprings it will help with stress on the leafs

I did this on my short course truck and found the longer the track bar the better because it tends to control your pinion angle but does keep it from wraping to far. worked great for me.
