The question is if we can use a semi stock bronco or truck to go thru the entire course without going 5 mph for long periods of time? I looked into the wide open deal and it is just a little too expensive for us at this time. We would like to know soon to be able to plan the logistics of the race. Thanks in advance.
    B. Evertt,
We are working on the camping question, we have not forgot you, but like all first time events, the logistics and planning are huge. It is going to be awesome. As far as the Bronco question, the course is exactly like a race course should be, naturally rough in some areas and other where you can open it up. A 4WD can go anywhere on the course without getting stuck and would plan on averaging 8-13 MPH in a stock vehicle. So spliting your recon run into two days would be preferred with a stock vehicle. There are also areas where you will want to pull over and stop and take in the views of Reno from above, herds of wild horses, marmets, chucker and other wildlife, so that kills your average MPH also. Bring your camera. Thanks

Any update on the camping on pit row question? Will there be a charge for parking at the main pit overnight? Will there be a 1 day membership option for prerunning? I'd like to take the kids on a lap and would hate to pay for memberships for them to go one lap. Thanks

    Hey Guys,
There are a lot of questions regarding the race and I can answer most of them for you or the HDRA site has them. The course is 18 miles east of Reno off of interstate 80 exit USA PWY turn right to the end of the road. Where to stay the hotels are listed under the drop down menu fireworks 500. The gun range you need to call me directly so I can give you prices 949 382-7790, but you need a group of 6 people, we have set times. We do have pre running available with our wide open cars if you don't want to haul your pre runner the cost is $1375, July 1,3,5
The HDRA site is being updated daily with information or you can contact me directly
