I have to admit I've been watching way too much 'Son of Guns' and because of that I really want an AR-15

You are allowed to have a AR-15 in cali. You just half to follow to the stupid rules. I live in Indiana now and they love firearms here. I recently got my NFA/class III license and my CCW transferred over to a LTCH (license To Carry Handgun) which is recognized in 23 other states. Concealed or open carry. The "Hunters" are just the tip of the iceberg. Since I got my class III I've met tons of people with weapons that I even questioned. But they are legal. Last September my father N law and few of his friends hosted a NFA day at my range. It was a day for people who wanted to learn about the process of a class III. Plus, You bring the ammo,you get to shoot it. It was a ton of fun. Most of the guy's who supplied the weapons have stock piles beyond belief.

Ar is the sportsmans new gun...I own many and love might rights.I think everyone should own one that is cleared by the D.O.J !!!!

agreed every one who can pass the DOJ back ground check should have a weapon imho. an AR-15 is as easy to get as a honda civic as long as you are not a felon and have the $$$ to $$$$ you want to pay for one and In california you have to have a few items on it that make it legal and have to wait 10 days from wanting it to getting it. i would not give mine up with out a fight i bought mine with in 10 days of turning 18 in 1999

I would love to come out to your neck of the woods and for you to show me a true back country Elk hunt. I'll even cook. In return, I'll get you on some Hoosier white tails and invite all the belt feed boy's down for the weekend
