Congress Desert race 100 miles for Bikes/Quads May 12-13
All motorcycles, quads and youth will race on Sunday May 13- Trucks and Buggies/UTV will race on Sat May 13
We will have more information coming soon about times and mileage- It will be about 100 mile race for big bikes and quads.
This track has a lot to offer and we are working on some really cool sections out there!! You do not want to miss this one- This will be the first time ever racing on this land and its beautiful!!!

Looking to see if it is a lap or loop race(or point to point??) to decide if the wife and I team up or both run solo. I wouldn't imagine the 4 wheeled vehicles whooping it out too much on saturday.
What are added expenses? $10 camping and $10 gate, do we need transponders? Any memberships required?

im totally in. this will be my first ever race in a buggy. you guys will actually be hearing from me this week.. need to get the car looked at and make sure its all bueno..
and being that this will be my first outing in this kind of thing, any additional info (where to be and when, how these events run, anything really) would be GREATLY appreciated.

For the bike and quads- No you do not need a transponder- you can sign up now to save 10.00 at www.arizonaoffroadpromotions.com It will be loops about a 20 mile loop total of about 100 miles- you can get a membership for 30.00 or just a day pass for 10.00- call me if you have any questions 623-363-9665

WOW! is all I can say about the Thunder Rock 150 race course- We just got back from the Ranch and we have added about 20 miles of brand new virgin terrain and still working on more. There will be something of everything!!!! I got a much better view of the layout today and I am telling you this will be the BEST race of the year!!!! I am so excited about this race- Don't forget the race is May 12-13, 2012- the bikes and quads will also have a Poker Run (pre-run) Sat at 6pm- more info coming-

From Prescott: Hwy 89 W toward Congress, Pass Yarnell Hill. At bottom of Yarnell Hill, turn right on Cty Rd 62 (Date Creek Road) – just past mm8 is a right turn in to Thunder Rock Off Road Ranch
From Kingman: Hwy 95 S, left on Hwy 171 toward Congress, left on Hwy 89, continue North (pass Frog Rock) to a left on Cty Rd 62 (Date Creek Road) – just past mm8 is a right turn in to Thunder Rock Off Road Ranch
