Re: Congress Desert race 100 miles for Bikes/Quads May 12-13
Can you please discuss what medical/safety measures you have in place for the motos on Sunday?
Paramedics, ambulance on site?
Any medically trained sweep riders? How many?
Race staff placed around the course ALL in radio contact?
What is the procedure for a downed/seriously injured rider that is on the course on the most remote location of the course?
Important stuff but usually not talked about until the need arises so would help to discuss ahead of the event. I'm sure you have measures in place & a plan for the above but it is important that as many people as possible hear it so everyone is on the same page.
Thanks.

The race is going to be awesome, I've been looking forward to this one for months. I wish my leg would be healed in time so i can race. The terrain out there is awesome, a true desert race. Good luck everyone.

Re: Congress Desert race 100 miles for Bikes/Quads May 12-13
Anyone hanging out in the pits on sunday for this one?? The wife and I are both racing and I was hoping someone might be around to help her splash a gallon or so on her third lap? We will be on race radios to give a heads up when she is coming in. No quick fills or anything just our old fashioned gas can. We should be there mid day sat in a black "work and play" trailer and running the poker run sat night.
Thanks if anyone can lend a hand,
Brian and Kristie

Re: Congress Desert race 100 miles for Bikes/Quads May 12-13
Thanks for a great weekend!
The course was marked amazingly well, the single track section tested a few folks wills and skills, and there was tons of on track and radio support. The results were even posted on the arizonaoffroadpromotions.com by that evening too.
Looks like the promoters worked really hard and looking forward to more races at Thunder Rock Ranch. Watching the cars race on saturday was pretty cool, just had to tone down the adult beverages until after the poker run.....
We would race with these guys again for sure!
