I'm sure about what I said. Kyle's rear-end is not the same as what Kevin and Danny built for Rick's truck. The suspension is not the same, nor is the rear-end housing... It wouldn't work the same with how the rest of Kyle's truck is laid out. I've been up close and personal with both trucks uncovered, standing right next to the Huseman's and Kyle.
Rick's truck is guaranteed the most copied truck around. Bill Smith has redone the rear-end on a bunch of Pro-4's to emulate what he saw of the 36... Mike Seat built the front of Carl's truck with ideas he picked up from the 36... Kyle's radiator and fan set-up was built after seeing the 36 worked.... Curt's truck was built with limited front up travel after seeing what the Huseman's were doing... And I'm not even sure where to start with Eric Barron's truck. Obviously the engine package, front diff set-up, Weisman transmission and transfer assembly, and a bunch of other little things. You can tell they spent some time trying to reverse engineer what they could figure out off of the 36... How many guys now have a manual trans in their Pro-4 because of the 36?
The funny thing is in all this, Rick would have been racing an all new and improved truck this season that would have had everyone scratching their heads again... Danny has already designed the truck to beat Rick's old truck. Many new innovative items were already being made for it when the unfortunate happened. RIP Rick, Jeff, and Danny Hicks!
Brian can you email me your number or email. [email protected] I'd like to talk trucks with you!

When a man knows how to live dangerously, he is not afraid to die. When he is not afraid to die, he is, strangely, free to live.
With that mentality though, I guess we could also make 2 TT classes for those guys that just can't keep up with the faster TTs. Oh wait.... This is racing. - Dan Vance
more rules are in place in pro-lite and pro-4 because of the smarts from Danny Huseman. it woldnt matter if it was down hill soap box derby racing, Danny would have a chassis engineered to win.
