We can call this the Huseman Allstar Challenge Cup. The race will rotate between the two series each year and rotate between different track just like what baseball does with their allstar game. One year torc will be in charge of the race then next year lucas will run the event. Each year it will go to different race track so that group of FANS can experience this great event. This race will also set up the triple Crown for short course race ONE race labor Crandon, One race the Challenge Cup and One Huseman Allstar Races. I dont know but this could be great. One other thing is only the top ten in Pro 2 and Pro 4 can qualifie for the allstar race and top 15 for the prolite other class can have the same system for qualifing. This can UNIFICATION of short course.
At the recent Lucas meeting Bob Pattison said he had another meeting with Torq. He said he offered that idea up to torq to crown a "national" champion. He said it was turned down.
That's what I heard too.. At least the dialog has been started and both sides had a chance to hear each other out. To me, that in itself is a step in the right direction.Originally Posted by SEANY
