We're racing at a dirt track not a golf course ? Lol

They will have a ton of KRail and catch fence to keep it safe.

Will be Installing 3 new sets of bleachers for the fans.

And drop a million plus gallons of water into the dirt on race week to make sure it's not a dust bowl.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is gearing up for their inaugural appearance at the Wild West Motorsports Park, August 25th-26th in Sparks, NV for the Toyota Silver State Showdown Presented By Fox Shox. As each driver fights their way through the 15-event 2012 series towards the championship, Rounds 11 & 12 are sure to be a shoot out to the end.

After Turn 4 you have a massive 100' downhill drop.



Here I'm standing on top of turn 4 looking at turn 1. Good dirt is getting added.

We flew over the track on my approach into Reno on Friday. Sorry it is kind of blurry. I had to be sneaky when turning on my portable electronics to snap this shot.

RENO UPDATE:

We will be holding the Official Lucas Oil Off Road Pre Party at the SILVER LEGACY Resort & Casino on Thursday August 23rd-

DIRTY* Note: The Casino is a must see and it's connected to Circus Circus ( <- Drop the kids off) and El Dorado Casino. The food is increadible and they have a ton of $5 Black Jack tables. It's in Downtown Reno and close to the track. Both hotels have pools that are filled with a million kids.



The Official After Party will be at the Grand Sierra Resort Saturday Night August 25. this place is pretty epic also.
