Re: RENO Wild West Motorsports Park Thread- Photos and Videos here!
Couple questions:
Will the pits be open on Thursday during practice or friday before qualifying? I would love to talk to some of the buggy guys about costs involved, whats needed to be competitive ect ect.
Is there any talk of a series at the track similar to GH and AZ?

Terry,
We don't sell Thursday tixs but I would go to the Silver Legacy Thursday night (8pm - till you go home) as a ton of drivers and teams will be at the Pre party.
Also we have Free Friday tickets at Scolaris, No Fear at the mall, all the motorcycle shops and you can go to the Pre party Thursday and grab some.
The pits are open to all so you don't need a pit pass Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Hope that helps.

The question was brought up about ice chests, pretty sure that's a no-no, but how strict are they with back packs with bottled water and snacks?

I would think you will be fine with a backpack. Don't hold me to it.

Reno NEEDS this race to be a success. We aren't Vegas, we don't pretend to be, but the area still relies on tourism as a major source of income. We were hit hard last year with the tragedy at the Air Races and an incident with the annual motorcycle rally just a few weeks later.
Reno welcomes off road racing with open arms. Last month we had TWO 500 mile races in this area. Vegas to Reno just wrapped up at the Grand Sierra Resort. Everyone I have talked to, from hot rodder to desert racer to guy who takes his Jeep out hunting is excited about the LOORRS race.
