Re: ADRA Thunder Rock 150
We had a great time at the race. The coarse was very challenging but fun. I definitly feel that it was a buggy coarse not a truck coarse. We were barely able to get into third gear. Good job to Tim for making the coarse well and making sure that there were coarse workers every where. The coarse was really tight the first few laps but by the end of the race we had a much wider race coarse. It was nice to have a decent class 1 turn out hopefully everyone plus a few more will turn out to the next race. I also need to give a big congrates to my dad for getting his truck to a second place finish in class 1. We had a close race going with a few cars most of the race. We will definitly be at the next race.

Re: ADRA Thunder Rock 150
I want to thank Tim Jones for putting on the event and bringing desert racing back to AZ. at a afordable price. And thank all the volunteers, check point workers, retrieval, timing ect... I hope there will be more racing closer to home like this. The car count wasnt bad at all considering the length of the course IMO. A longer course would have been cool, and I know he is working on the neighboring land owners. Rick at Tri-Star and his crew did a awesome job on safety, retreival, and radio comunications. We had killer radio all weekend. The course was iffy at first, but like Strunkbro said it became wider and worked! We will be back in Oct. I'll try to put up some go-pro footage of it. Except for the 8 miles of wash board road into the ranch, we had a great time. 1st in class 10, 4th overall. Thanks again.

Re: ADRA Thunder Rock 150
It was a great event for Tim and ADRA. The pits and hot pits were awesome, the most room and best visibility of any az race I can think of. Definitely a tight course for trucks but I will race mine in the next one.
