We're also the closest Org to you, rusco, though we are a smaller Org.
That was a part of my choice to go Subaru, they're all over here in Salt Lake.
Yeah, talked to a few mechanics that love the boxer engine style and reliability of the 2.5. They don't understand why we don't run turbos tho, like the WRX.

Re: Class 5 only
I was talking to some Subaru guys the other day about it. I think their jaws hit the floor when I said I wasn't turboing it, I don't think they even thought it was possible to not.
They still want to see it when it's done though.

Well I know where your going with this ,1) Not that it is a huge deal but if he is not willing to say its OK for an engine option and somehow feels some sort of accomplishment racing himself , THEN my opinion is and will always be that its not a beam car anymore (All it would take is .0000001 degrees of camber change and its an A-arm) 2)We have not had any trouble with the arms breaking , we use a Fodrill upper and modify it and build our own lower arms. 3)Do a search on my posts on this thread , I have posted up a bunch of pics , if you need more you'll have to wait until its prepped all of that stuff is stored in the race trailer

Side panels look cool, but couldn't tell from the pictures if it was 1 piece foward the a pilar. My panels have probably 10-15lbs of bondo. Like the fiberglass, but I want metal sides and would end up double walled. Was thinking about rolling some aluminum the same size and shape as convert but weld aluminum rod at top I (I get in through the windows not the roof) I like the little vents you have and would do somthing similar to gain a little air flow over the shocks/resivoirs.
As for the Martin/AMS arms, don't think that they are Savage legal and I still want to race SCORE. I don't think it would be cost effective to change on my car. If I did anything it would be to go with 1.75 lower arms from Latestconcepts.

Ohhhh the irony.
The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't.
