Jim, I think you might need to trade-in your internals on your T-4 for parts that can use more readily available bearings? Don't know how much displacement or potency will be lost...I'd need to do some research.[/QUOTE]

Jim, are you using non-standard (not T-4) bearings in your car? I understand reliabilty is also an issue with cranks...I've even broke some in my T-1...of course it is cheaper to fix...LOL!!

I dont know where your going with this comment , But I am not 2.8 ltrs and definatly not carburated ( Four 52mm T-bodies) and Motec M48

Its standard type 4 , but a scat one off chrome moly (unbreakable, famous last words) crank , took 16 months to have it built . Funny we had a regular crank in there and man were we praying every race as the other 3 ltr big motors were popping cranks like it was going out of style
