He's not getting close to that much with a 2.8 liter carburated motor...

Jim, I think you might need to trade-in your internals on your T-4 for parts that can use more readily available bearings? Don't know how much displacement or potency will be lost...I'd need to do some research.[/QUOTE]

Never gunna happen , Then I will be in the same boat as the Grabouski's were , broken crank every other race , No Flippen Way !!!

Jim, are you using non-standard (not T-4) bearings in your car? I understand reliabilty is also an issue with cranks...I've even broke some in my T-1...of course it is cheaper to fix...LOL!!

Then that opens things up A LOT!! I stand corrected...

    Ouch, a Motec M48 is like $3K!!!! I'm assuming fully programmable...WOW!!

I need to re-evaluate what sealed motor would work then...man that complicates things!! I was forgetting a computerized ignition and Fuel injection on a 3 liter T-4...

20K wont buy you Jimmy's engine. In fact, not even close.

Its standard type 4 , but a scat one off chrome moly (unbreakable, famous last words) crank , took 16 months to have it built . Funny we had a regular crank in there and man were we praying every race as the other 3 ltr big motors were popping cranks like it was going out of style

$3000 for a M48 in that case I'll take three of them (they are just a bit more than that)
