VW is what it is. Class 5 is that as well.

There are other classes and if not "lack of classes" for you to create your own.

Why not run sportsman? Why not create some spec class? No money, not enough support. Seems Crumco thinks he has it.... I don't think so. He has built other cars and where are they?
Same to follow with the others I suspect. They are not Class 5 cars.

Organizers..... WTF, really..... you cheap sell outs. Would the aviation industry allow a makeshift Beechcraft to be certified....... sure NO. Anything even exactly duplicated is an experimental. NO WAY IS IT WHAT IT THINKS IT IS.

Quality begins with rules and standards. Those that violate them should be so accused. Granted, growth and innovation should be rewarded and embellished; but also approved prior to acceptance.

"can't give a Jeepspeed away" just sold one a few weeks ago for more than I paid for it. By the way it ran all year on the same motor and won over six grand in a season of racing.
Oh yea I forgot 5 cars only here even though it is 19 guys from the back of the pack trying to change the rules to suit themselves.

Dont be a tool PEEWEE, I was simply stating that there was alot of them for sale that couldnt get sold. Im glad yours sold, thats a huge plus in this economy. I know Steve Frick tried to give his away so that he could get into his class 10 car and it took forever. The Texas Jeepspeed was for sale damaged and not prepped that is unloading junk not selling a race car. I still have two Jeepspeeds left and both are for sale. Don't know what I want to do next but have always had a special place for 5 opens and sincerely feel that the moves being talked about are the absolute death of the class. These cars are for VW nuts, if you aren't one sell the car and get something else. As for motors I am not positive but I think AJ Martin is running a type four that came out of my friends prerunner Thing with just some freshening and he knows how to win.

Glad your not tire kicking, thats fun for about two weeks, then you start missing the old racecar! Come join class 5. Lots of cars for sale, at this point you will draw first of second in just about every race you attend! Glad to see you had insite on Steves jeepspeed, it was advertised way different than you say it.... I just saw it online and raced with it in Texas a few times. I know ZERO about what makes a good jeepspeed. All I know is at the races I have seen them its alot of work, a welder, but lots of smiles too!

thats two standard race T4 motors, 4 T1 motors, a couple of jeepseeds(maybe three if you buy in bulk, class 9 cars(let me take my shoes off, and 237 Crumco Chassis, just shy of what Texans spend on BBQ, and the amount of money Baja Bird makes daily off suckers wanting dayglow yellow dive stuff!
