REP to you Promer. Stoked to have you around.
The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't.

Zack, dude.... CALL ME. PM sent with contact info.
Couple of observations -
1. yer f'n GNAR GNAR dude. Your new nickname is "Zipper"
2. Car looks good. Looks really narrow in the pic (probably just distortion)
3. Looks like you have A LOT of work left
4. What's the spec on that engine you have. I seriously don't think you've WASTED any money, if it runs, it runs. I'll be running a T1 this year and all next season as well (unless I can find someone that wants to pay a decent price for it).

Re: Class 5 only
A problem with posting on RDZ or any other forum is that it is open to the public. There are many people weighing in that have no class 5 car or are nostalgia fans that don't understand the expense with running air cooled engines these days. Perhaps another forum like a Class 5 only "group" on Facebook would be a better idea.
Thanks to T-Bird this thread has caught fire. I believe 90% of us want to grow the class and have more competition (better cars). Yes, there are a few on this forum that are "looking out for their own interest" whether it be keeping it air cooled or those that want to run a particular engine. But, on the most part the idea is to gain some entries back in class 5. Other than the Mint, when was the last time 10 cars showed up to one race? Like I said all along, I like the H20 option as long as it doesn't affect the T4 crowd and still feel the best engine option in the class is the T4.
Bottom line is racing by yourself is like dry-humping. Right?

BWWAAHAA... that's funny stuff. Just be patient on the "place to hang" I'm working on a full blow website that will have
1. Forum (same forum software as RDC)
2. Tech Section (for newbs and know it alls that don't really know it all) -from basics to advanced tips and tricks that make life easier
3. Race Poll - the GROUP will decide what races the coalition does. THREE race format per season.
4. Merch - sick shirts - sweatshirts - steekers - pint glasses - beer coozies - dvd's etc...
5. Photo / Video gallery
6. PRIVATE TEAM specific forums - A private place for YOUR race crew to meet online and discuss race logistics etc, share maps, gps files, etc.
7. Discounts on certain products - working on several deals right now for class 5 specific "partial sponsors"
I have put a great deal of work into this so far.

Re: Class 5 only
Jacob Meurer is racing his first year this year.
They are racing all the BITD races.
They are based out of Colorado, I have talked to them to try and get them to come out and race the Chili Cookoff this year. It might be too close to V2R for them, but we'll see.
