Spray paint fiberglass
Hey guys, for a whole race truck, im looking to budget on the painting for the fiberglass since Im sure it will be trashed throughout a season, the color is black and the stock cab is gloss black (from the factory). What methods of painting and products of paint/primer sand paper etc would you guys suggest to make it look as good as it can from spray paint. Or is there a cheap method of doing it otherwise.
Thanks

Re: Spray paint fiberglass
Check with the people who you bought the glass from, they can tell you.

Re: Spray paint fiberglass
Use 220 to knock down the gel coat. Then really all you can do is use a good quality primer/paint. Dont use the 99 cent Walmart specials. Even a good rattle can, is still a rattle can.
