I didn't see a thread for it... Who's racing? How many drivers are going to drive the whole race?

I know I'm gunnin for 1st in 1400. I've had bad luck so far this season. Mostly due to being broke and not being able to afford to go testing to work out bugs from the recent motor replacement. But I'm going to be somewhat(lol) prepared and lookin to whoop on some V8's with my V6. Going to Barstow Saturday (May 5th) for some shock tuning after some valving changes. I hope to have the truck dialed in a little better.

we will be camped on the lakebed from thur night through sunday am. in support of all race teams. got some toys for at night too.

G.A.S., What engine did you swap in? Your truck was super fast! Will be good to see it back out there.

Kaveman Motorsports won't be racing . Being out of work for 5 months is not condusive to racing! I will be out there though!

Thanks! Same motor I had before. SOHC 4.0 V6. I fried the other one at RATR in December. That motor can do about 3 miles at 5,000+ RPM's with no water till it stops going. lmao

M&D will be there in 501, I will be driving the whole race. Last year I drove all of it and finished with a 3rd after 10 hours. We'll be out preruning this sat.

feeding pump with a iv. ensure protein drinks. energy bars.

Carbs the night before and lots of water. During the race at fuel stops I had a protein bar, then peanut butter sandwich and at the last stop I had a energy/hydration shake mixed with water.

Is anyone prerunning tomorrow? Is the course marked yet? We want to prerun but the gps in the prerunner isn't cooperating.
