Haha, yep was going out on our 5th lap and three miles out from the start herd a clunk and thought it was a cv. Got out and assed the damage and saw it snapped completely in half.

good times the whole weekend. until the sheriff told us to change our rv pole light to a different color with one hell of an attitude. at least we had our fire permit ready
they even signed it. but then later 2 rangers came storming in, went through our entire woodpile. and told us to turn down the music. we understand, people nearby could of been sleeping. but they wernt near us. still a great weekend.

How did you do G.A.S??? You looked great on lap one with a good lead! Was awesome to see a v-6 out in front. We got busy in our pit and I lost track after that though.

he said no blue or red while in flash mode. he said he was responding to a traffic call seeing my light. i almost asked him how many traffic calls are 28 feet above the lakebed floor? i had the remote in my pocket so i changed the color. but he did ask me 3 times to change it as i was busy getting my fire permit out of the truck. and he was a sheriff not blm.

Placed 5th. I'm sooooo bummed, but glad we still finished. I just can't catch a break this year. Plagued by one problem after another, even after 2 test sessions for this 500. FML. Thought I had everything worked out, guess that's never the case with this **

Started 4th off the line and made my way up to 1st pretty quick. Stopped in the pits to top off the fuel and hydrate. Figured I had a long day ahead of me so I took my time and relaxed until I heard the crew say the rest of the class started coming thru. Kept the lead until mm34 when I lost steering due to a broken 3/4 heim. Peeled it open like a banana. 2nd time that's happened to me. And they are FK jmx series heims. Took about 2 hrs of down time to find one (thanks to Hassim and engage, I think thats who we got it from). Thankx to everyone that was at that pit that helped too! While changing out the heim I noticed the left front coilover was leaking oil. Then went on our way cruising to main because the truck felt all loosey goosey. Set the toe, took a good water and food break, tightened a loose upper link bolt, gased up and went on our way. Next few laps were pretty much cruising for the finish with a blown out shock, stopping every lap for gas, food, and water. Had to stop and tighten the upper link bolt 3 other times. Not sure why it kept coming loose. On the last lap I didn't want to go again since I was the only truck running still. Trever Leach talked me into letting him cruise the truck for a finish, and he brought it home. Had a good time, wasn't as exhausting as I thought it was going to be, but I still don't want to do it again. lmao
I am not sure exactly what number they were, but I nerfed a 13 car that would not move out of the way. I hit them a little harder than I intended to and I appologize for that, but that was still no reason for them to turn right into me. Then they have the nerve to complain to MORE that I smashed into their side! They had an open lane on the right which was not safe for me to cross since I could not see a clearing from their dust. There were big bushes, rocks, and bumps that I could not time correctly to move over. They could have easily. They moved left instead, I went to pass, then they cut right and my left front tire clipped their right rear tire and it sent me flying in the air and I was completly sideways on the course going 40+mph. I thought for sure we were going over. Sorry for the harder than intended nerf, but what a doushe bag move.
Congrats to Byma on the win!!! Not sure who else placed where.
I'd also like to add my wittle V6 put down a 103.19 lap time thru the 1st lap traffic and dust!!!
